The collection of articles presents selected publications of the Karpinsky Institute’s leading researcher, Doctor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences Vladislav Melikhov and his co-authors devoted to geology and productivity, assessment of hydrocarbon resources, elaboration of advanced research directions in exploration in oil and gas provinces and basins of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Caspian-Aral-Amu Darya region.
The published articles reflect a holistic picture of deep structure, exploration status, reserve and resource prediction, and orientation of new projects with the participation of Russian companies. They are of interest to experts of geological and geophysical enterprises and oil and gas companies involved in oil and gas exploration and production projects in the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Caspian-Aral-Amu Darya region.
