Experts of the All-Russian Geological Library of the Karpinsky Institute took part in a library congress

All-Russia Library Congress – 28^th Annual Conference of Russian Library Association took place in Kazan. The main theme of the congress was "Libraries in the Multipolar World". For the first time the event was the largest in terms of the number of participants and speakers: more than 1,500 experts from all over Russia as well as representatives of such countries as the Republic of Belarus, India, Iran, China, Serbia and Cuba registered to participate in the Congress.

Employees of the All-Russian Geological Library – Director Larisa Berdnik and Chief Bibliographer Natalia Yurchenko - attended the congress on behalf of the Karpinsky Institute.

Our experts were particularly interested in the issues discussed in the sessions of sections on international cooperation, electronic resources and information library services.
