Experts from the Karpinsky Institute arrived in China to agree on technical specifications and conclude a preliminary agreement for regional work

A delegation of the Karpinsky Institute, headed by First Deputy Director General Maxim Tkachenko and supported by Amethyst Group, arrived in Xi'an to sign a preliminary agreement as part of an event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the research centre for China-SCO cooperation in the field of geosciences.

Let us recall that this April, a delegation from the Xi'an Centre of the China Geological Survey, led by the Director of the Centre Dr. Li Jianxin, visited the Karpinsky Institute. The parties discussed areas of interaction between the Institute and the Xi’an Centre, and the possibility of exchanging experience in working with mineral managing companies.

During this visit of our delegation to China, a detailed discussion took place with representatives of the Xi'an Centre about previously planned projects for regional geological study of mineral resources within the framework of the upcoming major project. The technical specifications for the work were agreed upon.
