The Karpinsky Institute is hosting the business events of the 1st St. Petersburg International Geological Festival GEOFEST-2024

The round table “Joint pilot projects for regional geological study of mineral resources by the state and mineral managers – from idea to implementation” brought together more than 100 persons, including experts from the Federal Agency for Mineral Resources – Rosnedra, mineral managing companies, and the Karpinsky Institute.

The following issues will be discussed at the event:

Regional geological study of mineral resources in the context of changes in minerals legislation 

Procedure for preparing the List of plots for regional geological study of mineral resources 

Obtaining the right to use a plot for regional study 

Joint use of mineral resources by the institution and the mineral managers 

Agreement on joint implementation of mineral management

Bilateral consultations will also be held between experts from mineral managing companies and the Karpinsky Institute.
