Metallogeny features and prospects of commercial uranium potential of the Chuya-Tonodsky mineragenic zone in northern Transbaikalia (based on GK1000/3 and GDP200/2)

Commercial uranium potential of the Chuya-Tonod metallogenic zone, including the Tonod and Chuya uplifts of the ripheid basement of the Cis-Baikal-Patom marginal system are discussed based on recent knowledge on geology and metallogeny of Northern Transbaikalia. Ore districts, clusters, and formations have been described. Areas and prospects with uranium and complex mineralization recommended for further exploration have been identified.
