Radiogeochemical and hydrothermal-­metasomatic factors of uranium mineralization localization in volcano-tectonic structures of Transbaikal

Radiogeochemical and hydrothermal­metasomatic features of uranium ore localization either in structures and in their foundations are reviewed on examples of Streltsovskaya, Noranskaya and Mukhor-­Talinskaya VTS (Transbaikalian uranium ore province). The conclusion of the influence of foundation rocks hydrothermal alterations on a possibility of industrial ore localization is done. Radiogeochemical and hydrothermal-­metasomatic factors weak expression decreases perspectives of uranium ore formation in VTS volcanites. At the same time the presence of ore bodies in VTS basal layers suggests the presence of uranium mineralization in the foundation.
