Geological time and radiological age

The article discusses the concept of geological time and radiological age. Geological time – the sequence of different geological events, each of which is characterized by a specific inherent duration. Historical geology solves the problem of elucidate the spatial­temporal relationship between these events. The possibility of determining radiological age, the basic principles which is correct but it is not always possible to correlate this age with a specific geological event. The relationship of the concepts of “historical geology” and “historical geotectonics” closely related to solving this problem.
