Lower Cretaceous sediments in the central and eastern parts of the Greater Caucasus’ northern slope (paleontological and lithological comparison)

At present Lower Cretaceous sediments in the central and eastern parts of the Greater Caucasus’ northern slope are classified as series and suites. The article provides lithological, paleontological and age description of several suites, as well as comparison of their areas. This up­to­date characteristic of the suites is supplemented with the information provided by other researchers in their works, which had been published earlier.
